I’m in the final stage of memorising the Qur’an, only 2 juz left, alhamdulillah. I need more time now to revise everything properly. If I was in a normal school, I couldn’t have balanced it all! I’m grateful to Al-Birr for giving me the time to finish internalising Allah’s Words.

Lareen

I used to go to a normal school but I wasn’t enjoying it, or reaching my full potential. At Al-Birr, things are so different. I love learning again! I look forward to studying, have great classmates and feel supported by my tutors in a way I’ve never experienced before.

Thanks to Al-Birr, I can do so much more with my time! I started playing Hockey for a local team and don’t think I’ll ever look back. I train twice a week and play competitively on the weekends. The best part is I never have to worry about homework because most of it is done in class!

Last year, I was living in Qatar before my family moved back to the UK. I was scared about doing well in school here, especially in English. Thanks to Al-Birr, everything has been so easy, my grades have improved, and I am really enjoying my studies.

My parents have always encouraged me Islamically. They wanted me to learn Arabic and memorise the Qur’an. I love Islam and wanted to do it too. With the mornings free at Al-Birr, I’ve learnt Arabic in 1 year, finished memorising the Qur’an and feel so much closer to my Lord now!
