What led us here...

OUR STORY

“What can I do to help my child succeed, in this world and the next?” - asked our founder. A concerned parent, quite like you.

No doubt, schools drain time, resources, energy and often damage our parent-child bond. Sadly, many kids struggle academically, spiritually and socially.

This had to stop.

The Al-Birr model was created by a worried parent who wanted academic success, spiritual excellence and well-rounded leadership skills for his daughter.

Now, we want your child to benefit too.

Our students memorise the Qur’an, study Islam formally and excel in sport because we provide the blueprint to grades 7 to 9 in their GCSEs in less than HALF a school day!

Join us, and allow your child to thrive. Book a call today.

Live, interactive, accessible classes using the latest technology

OUR DELIVERY

Live online teaching

Tutorials are delivered live on our online platform. Students learn in an interactive but relaxed way using tools such as whiteboards and polls. Importantly, our systems track student progress so we can use data analytics to best support learning.

Structured homework

All homework is embedded in the timetable to consolidate learning. We guide students on how to approach homework and equip them with study skills too. This allows our students to gain confidence and become independent learners.

24/7 Access

All class content is accessible any time. If a student is ill or abroad, they can catch up easily. Students also benefit from being able to consolidate their learning at any point in the course. So, no more stress or worry!

Timetabling for success

Business organisations invest heavily in project management because it produces results. We do the same for your child's education.

Our classes run from 1:00pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Timings will vary slightly between years.

To maximise student focus, we limit the length of each tutorial and homework session, prioritising efficiency and timely breaks.

Focus is kept on consolidating material rather than simply covering content, so homework sessions run alongside tutorials.

Weekly timetabling
Revision intensives

Students need structured revision sessions in the lead up to exams to maximise their performance. So, we run revision intensives to best support them.

To avoid exam anxiety and fatigue, our students stagger exams in Summer and Winter sittings. So, our revision intensives are planned in advance too.

Term dates

Our dates align broadly with the UK academic year. Al-Birr students benefit from holidays during Ramadan and the two Eids, as well as the UK Summer and Winter vacations.
