Which track suits you?

CHOOSING YOUR TRACK

Two learning tracks - entry by ability, not age

Al-Birr is open to all. Students will join a track based on their ability, not their age.

Our Junior track prepares students to enter the GCSE track. It is typically a one-year course. Most students will enter when starting Year 7.

Our innovative GCSE track is designed to deliver 8 GCSEs at grades 7 to 9. It is a three-year course. Most students will enter when starting Year 9.

How do I apply?

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The stages of application

Stage 1 - To begin, all you need to do is submit an online application form.

Stage 2 - Your child will then sit a standardised entrance exam to test their English Language and Mathematics level. This will give us an idea of the track best suited to them.

Stage 3 - After successfully completing the exam, students and their parents will attend an interview with our team to assess alignment, aspirations and whether we are a fit.

That’s all! We look forward to your application and welcoming you to Al-Birr, inshallah!
